About Me
I’m Ethan Baker, a third-year student at Cornell University studying Industrial and Labor Relations.
Despite my major, my true passion lies in software engineering. With minors in both Computer Science
and Data Science, as well as experience as a Technology Intern this past summer, I am an analytical
problem solver and skilled engineer.
Interested in full-stack development and artificial intelligence and motivated by tangible innovation,
my unique educational background is one of my greatest strengths as an aspiring software engineer. In
addition to my strong technical skills in Python, Java, OCaml, and
more, my major has allowed me to
develop my leadership, teamwork, communication, and people management skills.
With this background, I am confident in my ability to serve as a valuable team player in an entry-level
software engineering role, and I plan to leverage my combination of people and technical skills in the
future as an engineering manager or architect.
